About ToolHive — Free Online Tools That Respect Your Privacy
ToolHive was built with a simple belief: everyday utility tools should be free, fast, and respect your privacy. Too many "free" tools on the internet upload your files to servers, require sign-ups, impose artificial limits, track your every move, or bombard you with pop-ups and dark patterns.
We built ToolHive to be different. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using modern JavaScript. Your files never leave your device — not even for a split second. There is no account to create, no limit on usage, and no hidden cost.
When you use a ToolHive tool, the processing happens right on your computer using your browser's built-in capabilities: PDF manipulation uses pdf-lib, image compression uses browser-image-compression, QR codes are generated with qrcode, password strength is checked with zxcvbn, and every other tool runs on pure JavaScript. Nothing is ever sent to any server — you can even disconnect from the internet after loading the page and the tools keep working.
ToolHive is supported by non-intrusive advertising: simple display ads, no pop-ups, no interstitials, no auto-playing video. We add new tools regularly based on what people need most.
